Jawger was founded in January 2016. Jawger formed out of a desire to create an inclusive privacy-first social network for family and friends to safely connect and share life experiences as life unfolds. It's a fact of life that online social networks are important and here to stay.
Jawger's philosophy is that we should not have to sacrifice privacy to communicate online. Privacy is freedom to be ourselves and communicate freely with the people who know us without concern of strangers (or corporations) gaining access to our lives out-of-context.

My curiosity in software began at twelve and hasn't stopped since. For over twenty years, I worked at industry leading technology companies (NetApp, Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, Compaq, and Tandem Computers) gaining experience in everything from product design to engineering to operations while building innovative Internet-based products that helped our customers be successful. I'm enthusiastic about using my vast experiences for technology that impacts the our day-to-day lives.
First and foremost, I am a family man who enjoys spending time with my super amazing wife, two children, and family. I love getting outdoors (camping, hiking, waterskiing, snow skiing, etc.) and spending quality time with friends.
